We were using the Bee'Jay's Kat Snot Dip Bait with a green plastic worm and the Dough Bait Original Formula on a No. 10 treble hook to catch these channel catfish. I fish the dough ball on the bottom without any weights, and leave the line loose so when the fish nibble and pull the bait they don't feel any resistance... then when the line really starts taking off- BOOM- set the hook! If the water is really cold the dough ball will get hard from laying on the bottom, and they only want to chew on something that is soft, so then I switch to the dip bait and a soft plastic worm. If the dough ball is hard when you bring it in, you may see where they nibbled on it, but it was too hard for their liking or they felt the hook and quit chewing on it. Good Luck!

My son wanted to go fishing for his 5th birthday, so I decided to buy some live minnows along with The Bait Saver lure. I wasn’t quite sure if The Bait Saver concept would catch any fish; but man was I wrong! We used medium-sized minnows as well as artificially scented lures inside the bait saver and both worked equally great! We caught 12 large mouth bass in 1 ½ hours. The bass were literally coming out of the water and striking the bait saver just as hard as any lure I’ve ever used in the past. My favorite thing about The Bait Saver is I can bait my kids fishing pole once and let them fish for hours without having to re-bait their hooks; it’s great! Keep up the good work Bee’Jay!

Nothing was biting that day, and then I put some Bee'Jay's on a hook and got this 10 pound channel cat at Dover Park Lake in Tampa, Florida. You should find a distributor down here, so I dont have to have friends in Illinois ship some to me.

Type: 10lb Channel catfish caught using Bee'jay's Original Formula Dough.
Time: 11:30pm
Place: Neighborhood pond in Lee's Summit, MO
This was one of three nice channel catfish I caught on Bee'Jay products this evening. The first two were caught on Kat Snot Original Formula and weighed about 3lbs a piece. I switched to the dough bait around 11:30 pm and in about 3 minutes this hog about pulled my fishing pole into the water. 10 minutes later it was on shore. After a few quick pics, it was safely released.
Thanks Bee'Jay - Larry Tozier

My father and I have been using the Original Formula for as long as I've been able to hold a fishing pole.
We caught these nice channel catfish in Highland (Silver Lake), IL early in the morning. We use it on a #8 treble hook with no weight. We toss it around submerged logs and trees.
If there's a channel catfish anywhere near by it'll bite. We're both convinced!
